Those who have followed this blog from the beginning know all about Daniel. They know of his extreme premature birth. They know of his entry into special education and his global delays. They know what an amazing human being my son is. They, like me, are better people just because of who Daniel is and the fact that he is an amazing human being.

If you, like me and so many others, are a fan of Daniel, I ask that you pledge today to show respect; show respect that we expect and demand; show respect that everyone deserves; show respect that my son and people like him challenged with mental delays and disabilities deserve but sometimes can not ask for themselves. I’ve taken the pledge. You should take the pledge too.
