“Quilt” was one of Daniel’s spelling words this week.
I know.
Quilt?
Yes, quilt.
He can spell it too. It’s so easy he tells me. So quilts were part of the rest of the learning this week including math. Upon completion of these particular colorful math papers, his teacher asked the class to write a sentence on the back of their paper about the quilt patterns.
Daniel wrote:

Because I do. I love this picture.
He knows. He knows me too well sometimes.
Can I just brag about how proud I am of the A-MA-ZING progress he has made so far this year?
I am.
Proud that is…very proud.
You *should* be proud. Not only of his amazing progress but his amazing attention to Mom. Knowing what she’ll love is the sign of a kindhearted boy, I’d say!
as well you should be! love seeing a mama so proud and a son so very sweet and smart!
