if you give a kid a hockey puck

So now that I am done with my whiny, pity party…

for today…

at least online…

let me show you what cool thing Hazel got to do thanks to her other grandparents, Grandma Melonie and Papa D.

She dropped the puck at last Saturday’s Stockton Thunder game against the Idaho Steelheads. Yes, those are Stormtroopers behind Hazel. It was Star Wars Night at the game and according to my friend Kari, who regularly attends Thunder games, a little Darth Vadar dropped another puck. Hazel’s daddy tells me that he dropped the puck after Hazel did. I’m sure that was very cute but seriously cuter than Hazel?

Please!

Now if you were to ask Hazey-Face who officially started the game, her or Darth Vadar, she will most definitely tell you…

She did!

And she was awesome too! It’s the Viking in her…a very proud, tiny Viking. Thor, the Stockton Thunder mascot would be very proud.

Yes, she got to keep the puck. Because if you give a kid a hockey puck they are eventually going to want it back. Because, after all, you DID give them a hockey puck. Didn’t you?
