Do you ever wonder what someone like me thinks of those cool, fashionable, hipster-type kids who wear non-prescription glasses just to look cool, trendy and even, as some so cleverly put it, smarter? Someone like me who has worn coke bottle thick glasses since she was a baby. Someone who takes the phrase “special eyes” to a whole new level with her -15.00 power lenses that she must wear every waking moment of every day. Someone like me. Well, do you ever wonder what I think about the Nerdy-Chic look?
I guess that I have to say that on her I kind of like it.
But just on her. The rest of you look absolutely ridiculous.
I think they make her look very studious! As for us — thank goodness for contacts!
My little granddaughter was disappointed when her eyesight was tested and proven perfect. She already had her iCarly glasses picked out. But the other half of my grandchildren–the ones who really need glasses–can never seem to keep up with them. Even my little semi-OCD grandson who never forgets anything–he forgets his glasses.
