just ignite the light and let it shine

I know, I know…Independence Day is over but SOMEONE in the neighborhood is still celebrating like it is still the 4th of July right now, late Saturday night….July the Seventh!

It’s not us. We celebrated with friends down in Ceres on Wednesday…Independence Day.

I guess if you still have ‘em, light ‘em…or something like that.

It’s a good thing we still have some doggie Xanax here under the Big Top because someone is out there celebrating still.

Good for them! Right?

Still I can’t help but hope the neighbors run out soon. We only have so much tranquilizers here for Buster and Betty.

This week’s Focus 52 assignment was Celebrate. Yeah, I went for the obvious. What can I say? We had a really great time celebrating Independence Day, our hostess’ birthday, barbecue, swimming and fireworks, on the ground and up in the sky.

  1. Fireworks are legal for 3 days in our city and I am pretty sure those days are over but you wouldn’t know it from the noise last night. My cats are really tired of hiding under the bed.
