April and, perhaps, May can be a bit deranged here in the Central Valley. One day is blue skies and warm, gentle breezes followed by a week of howling winds, rain, hail and the occasional funnel cloud to fret over commenting this is not tornado country! Still, the end of April and May, after a long, wet winter that ends years of drought, is the perfect time to get out and clean up our room outside because wind, rain or shine, it’s porch season.
And fire pit season.
Roasting marshmallows season.
Chubby bunnies and sugar high making all the memories kind of season.
Relaxing in the evening, sipping wine kind of season
Porches are America’s lost rooms
